Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lbs beef short ribs
  • 2 tablespoons oxtail seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine optional
  • 4 carrots peeled and chopped
  • 4 celery stalks chopped
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Season the ribs with oxtail seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Sear the ribs in olive oil until browned on all sides.
  • Sauté carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in the same pot.
  • Deglaze with beef broth and red wine.
  • Return the ribs to the pot, add herbs, and cover.
  • Braise in the oven for 3-4 hours until tender.
  • Rest for 15 minutes before serving.
