  • Tall glasses for serving
  • Wide straws (for the boba pearls)

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup tapioca pearls
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup cooked taro root or 3 tbsp taro powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup brewed black tea
  • 2-3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Cook tapioca pearls according to package instructions. Toss with brown sugar.
  • Blend taro paste, milk, tea, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Assemble with boba pearls, ice, and taro tea. Serve and enjoy!
