Ingredients
  

  • 2 sushi-grade ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds optional
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat tuna steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, and sesame seeds (if using).
  • Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Marinate tuna for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Slice against the grain and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Adjust searing time to suit your preferred level of doneness.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to two days in an airtight container.
