- 2 sushi-grade ahi tuna steaks
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds optional
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Pat tuna steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, and sesame seeds (if using).
Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Marinate tuna for 5-10 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side.
Slice against the grain and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
