Ingredients
  

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Prepare the cake mix as per the box instructions. Set aside.
  • Beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the cake batter into the pan. Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture on top, and swirl together.
  • Top with chopped strawberries or jam.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool before serving.

Notes

  • If you want an extra strawberry boost, swap the white cake mix for strawberry cake mix.
  • For a firmer texture, refrigerate the cake before serving.
